Problem Statement
“I lose track of where I am due to my ADHD, the current course creation model is too confusing”
understanding the problems

Established that the current model was too visually draining
Overwhelming user interface with no indication of which task had been completed
Key insights uncovered

Draining
The current model was too visually draining, overwhelming the end user
Workshop to define area of focus

We conducted a workshop with all key stakeholders, and the feedback helped us narrow the focus to three core insights: the current model was visually overwhelming, users were unaware of all available options, and there was no clear timeline—leaving users disoriented during the course creation process.
Wireframing

Wireframing allowed the stakeholders to quickly grasp the layout of the new proposed design, we opted for a single dashboard page design. This helped reduce the complexity of multiple pages
Ideas

Simple layout
The new simple layout design for the course creation process provided a single view of what steps the user needed to complete and a content area for users to complete those tasks within the same screen, reducing complexity of multiple screens
Feedback of new model

Users appreciated the ability to quickly see which steps were completed and which ones were still remaining.
Users had no clear indication of whether a task was mandatory or if it had been successfully saved.
